Happy Birthday, Fred Todd One of the founders of Rip Off Press (and the only one of the four original partners still active in the business), Fred Todd attended the University of Texas, Austin, with his cohorts Gilbert Shelton and Jack Jackson. The "business guy" of the group, he had been an art student and then a computer software tech before joining the others in creating their bold Underground Comix venture in 1969. He's often been seen in the Freak Brothers comix as a comic-character version of himself (see Freak Brothers #9) and recently engaged in a project to resurrect the great covers from the late '70s run of Rip Off Comix as double size art prints. |

These printings on heavy white book paper have superior production values to the first printings, and are as they came in cartons from the printer. Woodstock Original 1-Day Passes
For those that couldn't afford tickets to the entire 3-day festival, these one-day passes were offered for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday August 15, 16, and 17, 1969. Since the spirit of the times got so many people into the festival without a ticket, some went unsold. We've acquired a very small supply of these one-day-only passes, in pristine unsold condition, and are offering them for slightly less than the 3-day passes. Each comes with a copy of the manufacturer's letter attesting that these are the genuine item. Per pass, $60.00
